Lindsey Jackson, MD is fellowship trained in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is passionate about female pelvic health and is dedicated to improving the quality of life of her patients by working with them to incorporate individual health needs into treatment plans.
Dr. Jackson is native to San Antonio where she received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center. She then moved to Dallas to complete her residency in general Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She remained in Dallas to complete her subspecialty fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center prior to returning home to San Antonio.
She specializes in the surgical and medical management of pelvic floor disorders such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence and bowel dysfunction. Dr. Jackson is also trained in the evaluation and management of bladder disorders such as painful bladder syndrome (interstitial cystitis), recurrent urinary tract infections, mesh complications and vulvar disease. In addition, she has special interests in pelvic and vulvar anatomy, a topic that she has published several articles on. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and three dogs, cooking and running.
